Art Institute of Seattle offers Associate Degrees in the Commercial Arts: photography, visual communication, computer animation, music business, and various design degrees. Extensive evening program.

Artstart is a Seattle Art Museum website that features tours of their Pacific Northwest Native art collection. Includes related lesson plan. Also, features information on its Teacher Resource Center located at the Seattle Asian Art Museum in volunteer park.

ASUW Experimental College view current offerings and download applications of this widely respected leader in alternative education. Since its inception in 1968, the college has grown to become the nation's largest student-run, nonprofit alternative education institution. The college is dedicated to providing low-cost, noncredit enrichment opportunities and meeting the diverse interests of the Seattle community. While our offices are located on the University of Washington campus, courses taught through the Experimental College are offered both on campus and in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Centrum's High School Experiences in Creativity Workshops workshops for talented and creative high school students in the arts and sciences, located in scenic Fort Worden State Park Conference Center on the tip of the Olympic Peninsula.

Golden Acrylics Workshops - Jaq Chartier this site includes dates, locations and complete descriptions of classes and free lecture-style demos in the Seattle area. Classes include acrylics, glazing, watermedia, and color.

Langston Hughes Cultural Arts Center

Photographic Center School is a on-profit photography school offering in-depth classes, gallery space; website often posts "calls for entries" & has links to photo resources on the web.

Pilchuck Glass School is the largest and most comprehensive center for artists who create with glass. Offers five residential summer sessions, and in the fall, campus residency programs precede a winter and spring Seattle lecture program. Pilchuck retains its original experimental spirit, attracting novice and professional artists from more than twenty-five countries and thirty-seven states.

Pratt Fine Arts Center is Seattle's Studio for the Visual Arts. Located in Seattle's Central District, Pratt offers year-round educational and artistic programs including classes, workshops and studio equipment access in glass, sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking, metalsmithing and more.

School of Visual Concepts offers evening classes in illustration/drawing, advertising, graphic design and computer graphics.
