Announcement - Monarch Contemporary Art Center
location: Tenino, Wa.

Visit old Santa Fe and Taos and become immersed in the New Mexico art scene while participating in an intensive two day portrait workshop with nationally known artist, Arlene Siegel. Group leaves from Seattle July 10th and returns July 17th. Limited to 14, so secure your place early.

A conference to celebrate women, past and present, in the arts will be held at Evergreen state College August 21, 1999. Nationally known women artists in various art mediums will be presenters.

On August 22nd there will be an Open House at Monarch:CAC for conference participants and open to the public. There will be an art show, demonstrations, and entertainment on the grounds for the whole family.

The Visiting Artist Workshop Series begins in June and runs through August. Workshops in kiln glass, modeling directly in cement, metal enameling, metal patination and beginning sculptural welding with steel are just some of the offerings.
