: (forwards encouraged...please help us to spread the word)

: The non-profit association "Seattle Arts Fund" is now forming. The overall purpose is to provide subsidised live/work/gallery space for the artists of Seattle along with services to assist with artist and
: professional development . SAF is working to minimize the sad fact that affordable live/work space for our artists just doesn't exist or is somewhere beyond the reach of many artists.

: We are currently negotiating the lease to our first artspaces, one here in Seattle and one in Bremerton. Bremerton is a great space and will be ready for occupancy very soon. The Seattle space will be ready next March. A call for artists is now underway for the space in Bremerton. The next call (for the Seattle space) will begin next month.

: I'm writing to open up the door for comments and suggestions while we're in the early stages of forming. We are also seeking additional Board Members for those of you who may be interested.

: Please let us know your comments, ideas, complaints, solutions and wishes.

: Good ju-ju,

Hi I'm interested in the Seattle space in Aug. Question, it sounds like these are large areas, would we work out of our private space, or would there be a common work space??
