Hi my name is Cynthia, and I'm from Carnarsie
Brooklyn, now I'm being real I may not be like
other poets but I write what comes to my heart,
and about life. I summitted some of my poetry to
poetry.com, I just want your opinion to see how
you like my poems to see if I have a chance at
something, and if not at least someone had a
chance to read what I write. So I'm not going
to be professional, I'm just going to be me.
Here it goes:
I Once Was Lost But
Now Am Found
I was lost with my wandering mind, in search
of a place where I'd find sunshine. Praying
to see if someone can hear me, in search of
the goodness that was once in me.
Then I closed my eyes and started to rest,
I asked God help me, my lifes' such a mess.
Then I felt this warm feeling inside of me,
I thought for a moment God healed me.
I was once lost and now I am found, the
power of God had turned me around.
