Curators and best friends Art Access publisher Debbi Lester and artist Tammy Spears invite artists and collectors to submit their best art “trade, barter, or swap” tale to the fabulous Art Swap Exhibit at Bumbershoot, the Seattle Arts Festival 2001. Tammy and Debbi have heard of many artists trading their work for carpentry, health care, food, liquor (actually, just about anything), and in fact, Lester has amassed a large art collection herself through trading advertising or

Selected artists will be invited to show three works at Bumbershoot this year—the specific artwork from the trade tale, an artwork that will be part of the largest Art Swap event ever, in which artists will trade their works, and an artwork to sell to the audience at Bumbershoot this summer.
