The Bainbridge Island Arts and Humanities Council’s Committee on Public Art is sponsoring a permanent installation of
public art inside the Ray Williamson Memorial Pool, and is seeking proposals from artists or art teams who can create work of
a significant scale and impact that is sensitive to the particular nature of its surroundings and be conceptually complete. Puget
sound resident artists are invited to submit 10 slides with SASE and they must be able to provide suitable evidence of their
qualification for such a commision. The deadline for applications is April 23. The selection of finalists will be announced on
May 5. Bainbridge Island Arts and Humanities Council, Pool Project, 261 Madison Avenue South, Bainbridge Island, WA
