The Artists’ Space Summer Workshops and Retreat
From Balloon Animals to Fine Art...
The Artists’ Space opens June 23 in Old Town Monroe, Washington with an exciting 10 day Artists’ Retreat for adults. Beginning to advanced artists will have the chance to study under four internationally renown fine artists who specialize in applying traditional techniques to contemporary work. John Bannon, Saul Bernstein, Cornelius Cole, and Elaine Elliott will offer direct instruction in a small class size setting with unlimited studio time. A rare treat for those who seek inspiration, expertise, and the opportunity to let the artist within you out to play!
With over 50 offerings The Artists’ Space Gallery and Studio has most any art workshop you can imagine for ages 6 though adult. Three to ten participants per instructor. Fun and affordable at just $10.00 per hour. Art Activity and Workshop sessions meet once a week for four weeks - sign up for as many as you like! Experience the joy of creativity and self expression in Writing, Acting, Crafts, Drawing and Painting. Summer Session 1: July 10 - August 4. Summer Session 2: August 7 - September 1.
A monthly Writers’ Salon the first Friday of each month beginning July 7th, 7-9PM, is the ideal place to share your work in a supportive atmosphere and get motivated to write more! Come as you are. Coffee, tea, and snacks included. $5.00 donation requested.
