NEA Launches Redesigned Website

The NEA has redesigned its website. Please visit the site at
http://arts.endow.gov/ (see link below)

The site has been reorganized to make it easier to find information and to
navigate. New content areas have been developed, strengthening the site's value
to a diverse audience worldwide. The visual design by Husky Labs gives the site
a clean, contemporary look.

The site now has eight content areas:

LEARN ABOUT THE NEA - Who we are, what we do, and how you can get
the information and assistance you need.

ENDOWMENT NEWS - NEA press releases, media advisories, and legislative
upates.

GUIDELINES & APPLICATIONS - Guidelines and application materials for all
Arts Endowment funding categories, Requests for Proposals, and post-award
information and forms.

NEA PARTNERSHIPS - Opportunities and resources available through the Arts
Endowment's partnerships with other Federal agencies and public and private
funders.

PUBLICATIONS - NEA publications catalogue.

EXPLORE - Arts features and interviews profiling artists and arts organizations
across the country, and work by NEA fellowship winners in the Gallery and
Writer's Corner. New features include interviews with director Julie Taymor,
storyteller Jon Spelman, and architectural historian John Margolies; a look at the
NEA Photographic Survey Projects of the 1970s and 1980s; work in the Gallery
by Eduardo Calderon and Patrick Clancy; and a sampling of work by 1998 NEA
Creative Writing Fellowship recipients.

ART FORMS - The website's expanded cross-disciplinary resource center, with
information on funding, technical assistance, and other resources inside and
outside the Arts Endowment, links, field reports, and features on artists and arts
organizations.

NON-PROFIT GATEWAY - A government-wide effort to help non-profit
organizations access online Federal information and services.

The site's professional development resources are significantly enhanced by the
inclusion of the Lessons Learned Toolsite, a comprehensive compendium of
planning advice from a variety of professional arts consultants. The Toolsite can
be found in Publications.

We welcome your feedback - please let us know how we can continue to improve
our website. Thank you for visiting the NEA website at http://arts.endow.gov
