NW Arts was originated by Seattle artist Jaq Chartier, and brought into existence with the enthusiasm of Jodee Fenton of the Seattle Public Library. The site is currently maintained by Jaq Chartier, with space and tech. support donated by Viewit.com and Andree Hurley. Previous volunteers who helped develop the site include: artist Kris Caldwell, (for logo and icon design); John Brower of the Seattle Public Library Fine & Performing Arts Department; and Christina dePaulo of the Seattle Art Museum.
